This is just a short blog entry about a job I recently had done at my home. My wife and I are modernizing a large lakefront home and we decided to have a summer kitchen. After debating pavers or concrete slab we decided to have the concrete slab.

We were kind of gun shy because of previous experiences but reached out to  C & V Concrete Work Inc. The lady who answered the phone (Victoria) was professional and on the ball. We received a free estimate, they were always on time and the work turned out really well. Even more importantly the price was the same as we were originally quoted after we made some small changes.

I'm an older guy and I really miss the days of taking someone at their word. I just want to deal with hard workers who do what they say they will do. I used to work construction and yes I could have done the slab or even built my own home. But pulling concrete is really hard work. For $2,800 someone else can do it.
